A fund's dealing and settlement days aren't one market's holidays — they're the intersection of its domicile, its manager's location, its class currencies and the markets it actually holds. Fund Calendars derives each fund's calendar from those factors, from a centrally maintained holiday store — so the calendar is generated, not maintained.
Fund calendars are usually maintained by hand, once a year, in a spreadsheet — and every error stays invisible until the day it isn't: a dealing day accepted when the underlying markets are shut, or a settlement date that lands on a holiday nobody checked.
The hardest factor — whether an underlying market's closure should close the fund — needs to know the fund's holdings and their weights. On the Veracis platform that data is already there, validated daily.
And because the holiday store is maintained once, centrally, a correction lands in every affected fund's calendar on the next generation — not in whichever spreadsheets someone remembered to update.
Same DNA as the rest of the suite: configure, generate, review, export — with every run recorded.
Fund Calendars is in preview. If your team maintains dealing and settlement calendars by hand — for TA dealing, fund accounting or oversight — we'd love to show you what generated calendars look like.
