A spreadsheet export is a snapshot that starts aging the moment it's saved. A Report Studio report reads the platform's data directly — the same validated, signed-off figures the applications display — so what you circulate is what the system says.
Access follows the platform's own controls: your reports see your organisation's data, under the same login and entitlements as everything else on the platform.
